On 17 September 2025, the NEXUS project was presented at the Railway 200 event hosted by Aston University. During the session, Aston researchers shared some of their groundbreaking work on rail transport, highlighting the contributions they are making as NEXUS partners.
Patrick Bannon and Lydia Egbo (Aston University) introduced the NEXUS project and demonstrated how it aims to deliver innovative solutions for urban and metro transport. By focusing on optimisation, analysis, energy, and service efficiency, NEXUS aspires to shape a future where the journey is as meaningful as the destination.
